When you witness to people, you are probably going to preach the gospel, teach the
law of God, and lead them toward righteousness. However, You may not be the only
person or only source that the people you witness to get their information from. They
may have a preacher teaching them. They may be going to Bible schooling. They may
be reading the Bible and listening to sermons. These things do not sound like a bad
thing, but we are living in the age of apostasy and you must warn people of the
deception that is out there.
2 Peter 2:1 says that there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring
in damnable heresies. Jesus said in Matthew 24:11 “And many false prophets shall
rise, and shall deceive many.” False prophets, perverted Bible translations, and
unbiblical teachings are everywhere! We must warn people of these things.
Learn as much as you can about the truth so that you will be able to lead others away
from deception. You can make a difference! Be a witness!
