Last days
People have been saying Jesus is coming soon ever since He rose again and ascended into heaven. Apostle Paul even
thought that Jesus would return in his day. Since then people have been preaching the end times and warning people to get
ready for the return of the Lord. People took this seriously and everyone would repent and keep themselves ready for the return
of the Lord. Look at the way people are living today. Look at how they react to preaching of the end times. People are not
concerned about the last days and a lot of preachers do not speak a word of prophecy in their church. Many preachers will even
deny that we are living in the last days and some of them make fun of preachers who do preach prophecy. People laugh at
Christians who preach prophecy and the coming of the Lord. Most people ignore prophecy because they enjoy their sinful lives
and don’t believe in the Lord’s return.
2 Peter 3:3 "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,"
Jude 1:18 "How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts."
People have heard for so long that Jesus was about to return that they don't care anymore. Even proclaiming Christians don’t
care to hear about the return of Jesus. Christianity has become so vain that nobody recognizes the seriousness of following
God’s Word. Churches don’t even preach the Word of God as they are commanded. This has caused people to become more
worldly and sinful. Things have changed and immorality has overcome the people.
2 Timothy 3:1-4 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers,
false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God."
You don't have to look very far to see that this describes the majority of people in today’s world. However these things alone don't
prove that we are living in the last days. One could argue that there have always been scoffers and mockers, and we’ve always
had people living in immorality. That’s true, but think about how much more prevalent it has become and how it continues to
increase as we get closer to the Lord’s return. How much worse can it get? Look at television today compared to just 20 years
ago. Look at the crime rate and divorce rate. Look at everything now compared to just a few decades ago and how much more
sinful this world has become. Jesus is coming very soon. But let me show you some bible prophecy to show you that we are in
fact living in the last days.
Ezekiel 11:17 "Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the
countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel."
Since the time Israel got their land back, millions of Jews have returned to it from countries all over the world. God has called
them home and they are continuing to return to their original land even today.
Isaiah 27:6 "He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with
fruit."
What was recently a dry desert, Israel now has a farming and agricultural industry that exports produce. Vegetables, cotton, beef,
poultry, dairy products, citrus, and other fruits are exported from Israel to many different countries all around the world. Fruit is
their main export.
Isaiah 41:18-19 " I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of
water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I
will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:"
The Jews that have returned to Jerusalem have planted over 200 million trees and built a network of irrigation systems that
bring water in the lakes and rivers.
I could go on with many other prophesies that have taken place, proving that Jesus is coming soon. There are not many
prophesies left to fulfill before Jesus returns. And it's not going to take hundreds of years to fulfill these last few prophesies.
Jesus said three separate times in Revelation, "Behold, I come quickly." Once these things begin to happen, they're going to
take place very quickly. This is why Jesus warned us so that we would not be caught unaware.
Jesus said in Matthew 24:32-34 “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye
know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Assuredly, I
say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.”
Jesus is coming soon! You must make sure you're ready to meet Him.
Jesus said in Matthew 24:43-44 "But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would
come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such
an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."
