Lukewarm Christianity
I want to show you what it really means to be a Christian because 99% Christian will not get you to heaven. You’
re either on God’s side or your not.
Jesus said in Matthew 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me
scatters abroad.”
Can you be a Christian and a part of this world at the same time? Can you be for Jesus and against Him at the
same time?
Jesus said in Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the
other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
So why are so many professing Christians constantly going back and forth? On Sunday they want to be
Christian; Monday at school they want to be like the world. Wednesday night they want to be Christian; Friday
night they want to be like the world
Revelation 3:16 “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My
mouth.”
God will not accept a person who calls themselves a Christian and doesn’t live like one. I see a lot of people
who are living in a lukewarm lifestyle because they don’t fully understand what it means to be a Christian.
Lukewarm Christians are those who go to church on Sunday after they’ve partied and gotten drunk on
Saturday. They read the bible, but they also read worldly books about murder or adultery and all these mystery
or drama books that are full of unrighteousness. They watch Christian television shows, but also watch worldly
television shows with perversion, sexual content, profanity, violence and all kinds of immorality in them. They
listen to gospel music, but they also listen to worldly music with profanity in the lyrics and they fill their minds
with all kinds of filthy communication about sex, drugs, and violence. These things cause them to live in a
worldly lifestyle. They act out perverted things they see in movies, they say profane things they hear in their
music. They cuss and tell perverted jokes. They get drunk and take part in sexual sins like sex before marriage.
They will not find favor from God because they are not living as a true Christian
Jesus said in John 15:6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they
gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”
If you are living in a lukewarm Christianity, you must repent and follow righteousness or you will not find favor
from God.
